JERRY REED: DEAD AT 71

One of my all time favorite musicians, writers, and movie performers was Jerry Reed. Today he has passed on (emphasema) at the age of 71. One of his best of many movies is "The Survivors", with Walter Matthau and Robin Williams, where he plays a hitman. Time for me to get out the vinyl and make some MP3's of Jerry. This performance of 'The Stars and Stripes Forever" displays his formidable musical prowess.
